Technical Field Trainer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Technical Field Trainer (m/f/d) to be added to our Project Management team in the Central Region. The Technical Field Trainer will be responsible for performing technical training to various individuals and teams across the region, so assured they all are properly trained in accordance with the company requirements. The position can be filled in Hamburg, Oberhausen, Rostock or Leipzig, but requires regular on-site presence on the construction sites across Germany, Netherlands and Austria.
YOUR TASKS
•Performing technical wind turbine installation (or related tool and equipment) training with a focus on Installation and Supervision Training for internal and external participants on-site or at a company facility
•Participation and Supporting in Training Concept Development in accordance with organizational requirements (e.g. Prototype, new Wind Turbine Types, Tools, etc.)
•Evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews
•Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement
•Maintaining training records and documentation to ensure compliance with company regulations and standards
•Continuous improvement of your own professional and personal skills
YOUR PROFILE
•Formal qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution or proven relevant professional experience
•Experience as technical trainer, with certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) desirable
•4 + years of professional experience in the technical field, ideally in installation, commissioning or service of wind turbines and/or construction sites
•You are an ambassador of Health, Safety and the Environment who can develop and direct various types of personalities
•Confident Microsoft Office user
•Good knowledge of the German and English language, both written and spoken – minimum CEFR level of B2
•You are open-minded and bring a positive attitude to the team based on integrity and respect and can act in a proactive manner
•You thrive when working with people of different national and cultural backgrounds as you have excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking to audiences
•You are flexible, but structured and can work independently
The role requires a high willingness to travel (approx. 75%) within Germany, Austria and Netherlands. In exceptional cases travel within the wider EU can be expected.
In this role, you will on the interim report to the Head of Site Operations in the Project Management department of the Central Region.
