POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Plant Quality Technician directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As a Plant Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that the wind turbine manufacturing processes meet established quality standards. You will conduct detailed inspections and audits to identify non-conformities and ensure that the final products comply with applicable technical specifications and regulations. Your expertise in inspection techniques and quality standards will be crucial to maintaining the excellence of our products.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct quality inspections on received materials and finished products to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

  • Monitor production processes to identify and correct quality deviations.

  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrences.

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes.

  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.

  • Provide technical support and training to the production team on quality issues.

  • Actively communicate with suppliers to ensure the quality of supplied materials.

  • Open and follow up on non-conformities related to the production line, ensuring they are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Associate Degree in Quality Management Systems or related field.

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in quality control in wind turbine manufacturing or manufacturing industry.

  • Solid knowledge of quality inspection techniques and quality standards.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems (e.g., SAP QM).

  • Experience in opening and following up on non-conformities related to the production line.

  • Responsible, structured, and independent work approach.

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with different departments.

  • Spanish language skills are desirable.

  • Ability to handle constantly changing challenges and quickly adapt to new situations.

  • Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.
