Position Summary:

As the Plant General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by managing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration within a manufacturing environment and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks effectively, contributing to our goal of a sustainable and renewable energy future.

 

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and oversee the administrative functions supporting our production teams.

  • Provide support to the management team by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

  • Manage schedules, maintain records, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Ensure all administrative processes are aligned with operational goals by collaborating with and facilitating effective communication between various departments.

  • Handle correspondence effectively, prepare reports, and assist in the development and implementation of administrative procedures.

  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the manufacturing facility is well-equipped to meet production demands.

  • Manage entry to the plant.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What you have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; bachelor’s degree preferable.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, are essential for this role.

  • Strong organizational skills and effective written and oral communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented and proactive.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
