Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Operator/Technician, you are responsible for maintaining all plant equipment, installations, and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure that production has everything needed for assembly when necessary. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems, ordering replacement parts, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of all plant equipment, installations, facilities, and tools.
- Participate in contracting external companies to perform maintenance as needed.
- Manage all documentation generated by maintenance. Perform the relevant monitoring via meetings, action plans, and equipment and tool inventory updates.
- Manage the purchase of tools, tooling, equipment, consumables, spare material, etc.
- Perform periodic activities (inspections and verifications) for all common elements for all production centers.
- Manage all of the documentation generated by production center Periodic Activities, including, executing and proposing improvement actions.
- Management of plant consumables and spare materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical fields(preferred).
- 1-2 years in the maintenance field (preferred)
- User-level knowledge of office software, particularly Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated interest in the project and willingness to work hard.
- Responsible, organized, and possess negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a structured manner.
- Ability to travel to domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure the ability to safely perform job functions and meet the physical demands of the position
