POSITION SUMMARY
Help Shape the Future of Learning at Nordex- At Nordex, our people power renewable energy. We're looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team and play a key role in developing, coordinating, and enhancing learning programs that support employee growth, leadership development, onboarding, and career advancement across North America.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful employee experiences, managing learning technologies, and helping employees reach their full potential within a growing global organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Learning & Development
- Coordinate and support learning and development programs across North America.
- Assist with leadership development, mentoring programs, professional development initiatives, and talent development programs.
- Coordinate training schedules, communications, registrations, and program logistics.
- Partner with business leaders to identify learning needs and support organizational development initiatives.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate and administer New Hire Orientation programs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Monitor and track training completion and onboarding milestones.
- Continuously improve onboarding programs through employee feedback and best practices.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for Nordex's Learning Management System.
- Manage learner records, certifications, assignments, training plans, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot user issues and provide LMS support and guidance.
- Maintain learning content and ensure system data accuracy.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create reports and dashboards to track participation, completion rates, and learning effectiveness.
- Analyze learning data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, Training Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Experience administering and supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting leadership development, mentoring, and talent programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Experience with learning analytics, reporting tools, and data visualization.
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
