POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Industrial Maintenance Technician directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you are be Working together as part of the Maintenance Team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing and performing the necessary tasks to ensure the continuous availability and proper maintenance of all plant elements under its scope.
This Industrial Maintenance Technician must be proficient in the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module and will work closely with other Maintenance team members and other departments to support overall operational efficiency. This role will manage repair and maintenance, ensure both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed effectively, and contribute to minimizing production downtime.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage consumables, spare parts, tooling, and inventories, including purchasing, receiving, replacements, and all related SAP transactions.
- Oversee work orders, maintenance schedules, documentation, and reporting in SAP.
- Plan, schedule, and perform maintenance activities, including inspections, preventive/predictive work, corrective repairs, and equipment/tooling qualifications.
- Maintain and repair equipment, tooling, and facility infrastructure, including installation, assembly, modification, and commissioning.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks performed by third‑party vendors and contractors.
- Support maintenance planning, prioritization, and other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent (Required).
- Vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical fields (preferred).
- Proper and safe utilization for both hand and power tools.
- 1 year in the maintenance field or an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology (required)
- 3-5 years in the maintenance field (preferred)
- User-level knowledge of office software, particularly Word and Excel.
- ERP/SAP experience is preferred.
- The ability to take responsibility, initiate tasks independently, and be proactive.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a structured work environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Working at heights on occasion.
- Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 Quality System is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure the ability to safely perform job functions and meet the physical demands of the position.
