Nordex USA, Inc. is offering a paid internship to candidates interested in shaping the future of energy with us.  


The development, manufacture, project management and servicing of wind turbines in the onshore sector is the core competence and passion of the Nordex Group and its more than 8,500 employees around the globe. Founded in 1985, we have more than 35 years of experience in harnessing the wind.

The internships will be based in our Procurement and People & Culture teams and located in our West Branch, IA offices. The internships are offered either as full-time in the office, or in a hybrid form, with at least three days a week in the office.  


What you’ll do:   



  • Support clean-up supplier add backlog, reaching out to suppliers or internal departments to close tasks 
  • Update component pricing and supplier lead times in SAP/JDE 
  • PO acknowledgments follow-up with suppliers 
  • Follow-up with Site locations to ensure parts/services were delivered and received into SAP/JDE 


People & Culture (Human Resources):  

  • Specific HR focused tasks and special projects will provide practical and real-life experience with all areas of HR operations including, but not limited to, recruiting, on-boarding practices, policy development, training, employment law and regulations, and other general HR functions.  
  • Review and participate in on-boarding process  
  • Assist in project to review and update company policies  
  • Conduct internal audit of HR records  


What is Required:  

  • Undergraduate or graduate level student in a relevant Business Administration, Human Resources or similar discipline (or recent graduate)  
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and able to learn new software  
  • Self-starter, quick learner, takes initiative and ownership 
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality 
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
