THE PURPOSE
Working together as part of the commissioning team, reporting to the Team Lead Commissioning, the Commissioner is responsible for carrying out functional tests and ensuring the correct operation of the turbine. You will work closely with the Project Management team and Regional Operations to maintain the Nordex Service quality and efficiency as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
YOUR TASKS
- Responsible for commissioning, fault finding, and test run of wind turbines, including technical analysis and specific recommendations related to wind turbine operation.
- Carry out pre-checks/ inspections and repairs of system and equipment as well as diagnoses of malfunctions.
- Report commissioning status, quality deviations, and malfunctions.
- Ensure completeness of relevant documentation and hour reporting.
- Handling necessary spare parts for commissioning activities.
- Responsible for leading commissioners site team.
- Responsible for knowledge transfer to new team members.
YOUR PROFILE
- 4+ years of experience in the wind industry
- Vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic fields
- Electrical License to work on Medium/high voltage equipments
- GWO certification (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- Ability to work at heights and in remote locations is a must
- Extensive travel is required
- Nordex competencies (Teamwork, communications, etc)
- Physically capable to fulfill the role
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Extensive IT competency combined with high experience level in wind turbine IT tools
- Advanced knowledge of turbine systems and components troubleshooting or similar
