Sourcing Manager for Cabinet Components Nacelle (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

 

  • Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers for electrical system category in Global Sourcing Nacelle
  • Coordinate all supplier related activities throughout the value chain
  • Develop global sourcing commodity strategy and ensure implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Master supply chain transformation to new geographic footprints (EU, BRAZIL, INDIA, CHINA)
  • Drive price and capacity negotiation process to ensure that Nordex prices are best in class
  • Negotiate and manage global contracts (FPA, QAA, NDA, SERVICE)
  • Secure proactive supplier engagement on initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Innovation
  • Ensure KPIs and targets achieved at supplier level
  • Participate in internal WorkStreams (cost out programs, localization initiatives etc.)

 

YOUR PROFILE: 

 

  • A relevant university degree
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management in wind sector and / or comparable industry on international scale
  • Experience in electrical cabinet materials and bigger electrical / power transmission commodities
  • Strong negotiation skills, end-to-end mindset with solid business understanding and sound judgement
  • Structured, systematic and transparent approach to business processes
  • Strong ownership, service-orientation and independent way of working
  • Pragmatism and ability to quickly adapt to new / changing situations
  • Excellent communication skills with people of various cultural backgrounds
