MISSIÓN: responsible for overseeing multiple site managers across various wind energy projects. This role ensures that all projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
TASKS:
- Cost Control: Monitor and manage project costs to ensure expenditures align with the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures.
- Ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the contractual conditions.
- Coordination of Site Managers: Supervise and support site managers in the execution of wind projects.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with site managers to develop detailed plans, including schedules and resources.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure that each site has the necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to meet objectives.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track the progress of projects at each site, compiling reports and communicating updates to the Head of Construction.
- Problem Resolution: Assist site managers in identifying and solving construction problems or delays.
- Compliance and Quality: Guarantee that all site activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Facilitate communication between sites and other departments like engineering, procurement, and logistics.
- Team Development: Identify training needs and promote the professional development of site managers.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the wind energy, renewable energy, or construction sectors.
- Experience in precast concrete or construction buildings.
- English is a must. Minimum B2 certificate.
- Proven experience in supervising multiple site managers across large-scale projects.
- In depth knowledge of wind energy construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing and motivating site teams.
- Exellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel to multiple project sites as required.
- Strategic Planning: Proficiency in developing comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and cost management tools.
