MISSION: The project Manager has the overall responsibility during the whole Project execution and execution readiness phases until final acceptance ad handover to Service. Ensure and lead the team to the achievement of the KPIs of the project and of the fulfilment of the contract. 

 

TASKS:

  • The project manager has the overall responsibility during the whole Project Execution and Execution Readiness phases until final acceptance and handover to Service. He shall manage, coordinate and lead the project team and has the authority for all aspects in order to secure a safe and successful implementation of the wind farm installation in terms of costs, quality and time and the rest os KPIs the PMs are in charge of. 
  • The project Manager should also act as an “Internal representative” of the project to support services in the organization. He is the main contact person and interface between all departments, with regards to anything related to the project. Therefore, PM is the responsible of the alignment with the different functions in the defined interfaces as Global Sourcing, Legal, HSE, Quality, Supply Chain or all the operational departments. 
  • Responsible of the financial aspects of the projects and additionally he should ensure the risk analysis of the project and should implement all the mitigation plans needed in advance. 
  • Ensure the implementation of all the QHSE policies defined by the company in all the project phases. Ensure fulfilment of HSE and technical requirements at the wind farm site. 
  • Responsible for the safety of the project team and all subcontractors on site as well as other stakeholders affected by this work. 
  • Management of institutional relationships when applies, commercials and contractual discussions with the main stakeholders in relation with the project management and operation execution, claims, disputes and any matter of a contractual nature with clients and suppliers. 
  • Responsible of the customer, contract management and other stakeholders e.g. claims management from/to customer, change orders, monthly invoices, cash collection, etc. 
  • Ensure set up and maintenance of PM tools (schedule, risk matrix, forecast, Org Chart, upvise etc.)
  • Control and reporting of the performance´s indicators defined by the PM department.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar qualifications.  
  • More than 5 years of of experience in the same or similar position.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Project planning, risk management, time management and other project management skills. 
  • Conflict resolution experience..
  • International experience.
  • Experience in Wind Sector and/or comparable industry on international scale will be a plus.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) will be a plus.
  • Contract negotation, Conflict resolution experience will be a plus.
  • Proactive profile.
  • Problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Communication skills and a high degree of teamwork. 
  • Autonomous and challenge motivated. 
  • Responsible and able to adapt to different situations.
