MISSION:

Management of a group of engineers responsible for developing and optimizing the Outbound Logistics tools and processes. At the same time, those engineers will participate in the development of new WTGs ensuring the requirements from Logistics perspective are included to optimize costs, quality, safety and Logistics processes.

 

TASKS:

  • Managing a group of engineers with functional/disciplinary responsibility for developing and optimizing Outbound Logistics tools and processes
  • Responsibility for the planning, execution and reporting of Outbound Logistics tools and processes under development or prototyping phases, including cost and delivery timelines
  • Delegate tasks and grant trust to the team and develop a strategy the team will use to reach its goal
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Creating and maintaining a robust network across different Nordex departments and tools suppliers
  • Managing the assigned Outbound Logistics tools development from concept through industrialization (design, prototype, manufacturing and industrialization)
  • Managing the processes for new products and maintaining/updating the serial ones
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement measures
  • Continuously support Sourcing Department with technical doubts regarding Outbound Logistics tools during manufacturing phase and homologations of new suppliers for existing Outbound Logistics tools.
  • Support on-site validations of the assigned Outbound Logistics tools and processes
  • Support current projects under execution solving the assigned incidents / improvement actions related to Outbound Logistics tools and processes

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
  • CAD-PLM (Teamcenter, Teamcenter Visualization), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), SAP
  • Team management, teamwork and close relationship with other departments. Multicultural teams interactions. Lead by example and inspire team members to achieve their best
  • High English Level
  • At least 5 years developing processes and/or tooling in the Wind Industry, preferably in Nordex
  • Availability to travel occassionally
