MISSION:
We are seeking a Process Engineer to develop and optimize on-site installation tools based on wind turbine characteristics and requirements from installation perspective to optimize costs, quality, safety and installation process.
YOUR TASKS:
- Manage installation tools development projects from concept through industrialization (design, prototype, manufacturing and industrialization).
- Engage with and manage suppliers to design and manufacture installation tools base.
- Creation of technical specification to list the features that the installation tool requires to fulfill. Alignment with the assigned installation process engineer.
- Perform design reviews, FMEAs and other critical technical deliverables.
- Creation of operating instructions for installation tools.
- Managing the creation of SAP #s and link all technical documentation in PDM.
- Manage the installation tooling list identifying the needed installation tools to be delivered to projects under construction depending on the wind turbine model.
- Support Sourcing team with technical doubts regarding installation tools.
- Support on -site validations of installation tools.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement measures.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Qualification: Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Complementary Training: CAD-PLM (Teamcenter, Teamcenter Visualization), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), SAP.
- Teamwork and close relationship with other departments. Multicultural teams interactions. Lead by example and inspire team members to achieve their best.
- Languages: English (high level).
- Experience: having 1 – 3 years in a similar position in the wind industy.
- Availability to travel (20% annually)
