Indirect Tactical Purchasing Intern (m/f/d)

The Indirect Tactical Purchasing Intern position aims to support the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness in the management of purchase requests and orders in the indirect spending area. The person in this position will collaborate in process optimization, system support for order creation, and supplier information maintenance, fostering collaboration between departments and contributing to strategic initiatives of the Indirect Purchasing Department.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Document procedures for managing requests and orders
  • Support the improvement of the purchasing system and the updating of supplier data
  • Collaborate in the development of an interdepartmental communication plan
  • Participate in identifying opportunities for improvement in purchasing processes
  • Support the development and implementation of standardized procedures for managing purchase requests and orders
  • Collaborate in improving ERP system support for order creation and supplier information management
  • Participate in the creation of communication channels with other departments to facilitate order tracking and incident resolution
  • Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and operational excellence in the purchasing process

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Training in areas related to administration, engineering, economics, or similar
  • To be eligible for the internship, you must not have completed your bachelor's or master's degree more than 3 years ago
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing processes and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • High level of English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate across departments
