Global Sourcing Manager Concrete Tower Components

DEPARTMENT:  Sourcing

MISSION: Development of the supply chain for concrete tower components.

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Category Strategy development and Implementation.
  • Supplier relationship management and Supplier Account Management.
  • Coordinate all supplier-related activities throughout the value chain.
  • Ensure and control supplier performance.
  • Set-up framework agreements with blade suppliers and monitor their performance assuring supply.
  • Manage supplier accounts including internal as well as external interfaces.
  • Responsible for global targets (cost, quality, delivery) in coordination with stakeholders
  • Global development of supply chain concrete tower components.
  • Search for alternative suppliers, RfQ…
  • Negotiation of capacity and prices. 
  • Negotiate and manage global contracts depending on Commodity, service or country/market.
  • Secure proactive supplier engagement on initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, costs, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and Innovation.
  • Ensure KPIs and targets are achieved at supplier level.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Business and/or Engineering degree or other relevant educational background.
  • Above 3-5 years of experience in the same or similar position.
  • Experience in precast concrete or construction buildings. 
  • English is a must. Minimum C1 certificate.
  • Valuable: German, Portuguese, Chinese.
  • Proactive profile.
  • Leadership.
  • Communication skills and high degree of teamwork. 
  • Autonomous and challenge motivated.
  • Resolution oriented person. 
  • High negotiation skills. 
  • Flexibility and good change adaptability.
  • Able to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. 
  • Service orientation. 
  • Experience in strategic sourcing and category management in Wind Sector and/or comparable industry on international scale will be a plus.
