General description:
Blade Material localization and homologation in order to achieve Nordex supply chain strategy.

 

YOUR TASKS:
•    Consolidate and strengthen all technical communication and coordination between HQ Engineering and China suppliers, to minimize asymmetry of information exchange and to mitigate risks of technology and quality.   
•    Scope the qualification of blade materials for testing and process application methods.
•    Assessment potential blade material supplier together with SQA department.
•    Follow up material characterization test with local and international 3rd party test institute.
•    Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers in a global engineering organization.
•    Specification of tests in collaboration with the design engineers, along with the subsequent analysis and reporting.
•    On-site follow-up for introduction of materials in production – inspect fulfillment of design requirements, define quality measures.
•    On-site support for ramp-ups and clarification of technical questions
•    Investigate any kind of material problem issued by serial blade production and provide technical solutions.

 

YOUR PROFILE:
•    Bachelor/Master in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science or similar. Having knowledge and experience with blade materials from wind power, automotive or aerospace industry is a prerequisite.

•    Have solid experiences on composite (including glass fiber, epoxy resin, prepreg, adhesive, coating system ect) quality management, participate new part design evaluation, organize composite testing. 

•    6-8 years working experience on blade material technology.
•    Strong knowledges and applications of diversified blade materials. 
•    Good problem-solving capabilities.
•    Good communication skills, a high technical proficiency, and excellent proficiency in English are essential.
•    Ability to direct multi-skilled professional teams.
•    Engage in HSE management and be fully safety-focused.
•    Ability in working within multi-cultural and multi-national team.
