Service Lead Technician

Working together as part of the Service Operations Team, reporting to the Local Operations Manager, the Service lead technician is responsible for leading local service technicians onsite, troubleshooting and maintenance of turbines with high safety standards.​

You would work closely with the operational and Backoffice team to ensure a high level of availability in the wind farm which will enable high service standard for our customers and promote future company growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety related processes required to perform work in a safe way ​
  • Lead the technical team onsite​
  • Be the point of contact to customers regarding communication on daily activities, and provide them with monthly reporting ​
  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines.​
  • Troubleshoot and repairs systems and equipment of the turbine; completes preventive maintenance and diagnoses malfunctions.​
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to maintenance planning schedule ​
  • Ensure high quality reporting of daily activities, snags and maintenance tasks in accordance with internal requirements including booking of materials ​
  • Maintain a high standard of the Service point, tools, service vans and manage the local stock ​
  • Participate in Field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues within the team​​

Career/Job experience:

4+ years of experience in the wind industry depending on experience and education
