YOUR TASKS

 

  • Budget Preparation: Assist in creating project budgets during the tendering phase, including road surveys, logistics costs and road work costs.
  • Transport Management: Ensure the safe, timely, and damage-free transport of wind turbine components.
  • Schedule Coordination: Work with suppliers (e.g. ship-owners, port operators, transporters), production sites, global logistics, and project teams to coordinate schedules.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee subcontracted logistics operations, such as port activities and final deliveries.
  • Road Survey Assessment: Evaluate road surveys to ensure feasibility and safety.
  • Risk Monitoring: Anticipate and manage logistics risks, including capacity issues, transport permits, road modifications, potential delay and adherence to Nordex standards.
  • Cost Optimization: Update budgets with latest forecast, optimize costs, and identify risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Domestic Transport Sourcing: Prepare the Scope of Supply for sourcing domestic transport and give feedback on suppliers’ performance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties like price requests and purchase orders.
  • Senior responsibilities: Replace the Med Logistics Manager during his absence, assume Med portfolio tasks, support tenders/operations outside Balkans and train new members.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in logistics and over-size transport
  • Familiarity with local transport permitting regulations
  • Preferably a university degree in Engineering, Technical, or Commercial fields
  • Experience in the wind industry is an asset
  • Proficiency in IT tools, project management methodologies and financial follow-up
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Fluent in English and ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and accountable
  • Flexible and available to meet the demands of the role.
