Project Manager Software (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

• Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on Software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project.
• Main interface between Global Service and Global Engineering for the new reliability program.
• Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (mainly but not limited to Engineering and Service).
• Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval.
• Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers.
• Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development as well as escalation to relevant committees.
• Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers.
• Coordination of technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management.
• Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master's in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar.
• Complementary Training: Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred).
• Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions.
• Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server). Experience in an ERP and PLM system advantageous.
• Profile: Team worker, customer & solution oriented, clear and structured communication and reporting skills.
• High quality awareness and assertiveness. Intercultural experience necessary.
• Languages/Level: Fluent in English. Beneficial skills in Spanish and German.
• Experience: Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in wind industry.
