We are looking for a motivated colleague to join us in exciting and international projects in our global Engineering team.
YOUR TASKS:
As member of our international team, you take over several development and data analysis tasks for our electrical yaw system. The system consists of a frequency converter system which controls multiple electro-mechanical drives to turn the nacelle.
In detail, this includes among others the following tasks:
- Analyse field data to verify the correct behaviour of the yaw system
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to discuss and define yaw system requirements and summarize them together in functional specifications
- Technical clarification and creation of software specifications
- Implementation of software functions according to the requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC)
- Specify, perform, evaluate and document tests for the yaw system on component, system and turbine level
- Creation of the related functional and software documentation
YOUR PROFILE:
- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or comparable qualification
- Advanced professional experience in PLC software development with e.g. structured text and SCL (Siemens)
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink to be of advantage
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Spanish and/or German is helpful
- Well-structured and autonomous way of working with a solution-oriented mindset as well as accuracy and efficiency
- Intercultural understanding and thriving on working collaboratively within cross-functional, global and diverse teams
- Readiness for travel to tests at testbenches for up to 10% of the working time in average
