Your Tasks:
- Aerodynamic design, evaluation and optimization of wind turbine rotor blades
- Conduct support and evaluate numerical flow simulations using CFD tools
- Continuous improvement of inhouse tool chains and programming of scripts to automize workflows
- Plan and support aerodynamic measurement campaigns (wind tunnel and field measurements)
Your Profile:
- Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or comparable studies, Phd beneficial
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Sound technical overview of aerodynamic basics and rotor blade or wing design
- Professional experience especially in wind turbine research and development in the field of aerodynamics and/or load calculation is a plus
- Proven programming skills (e.g. Python, C/C++, Matlab)
- Fluent English
- Spanish, German or other language skills beneficial
- Self-organized and personality with the ability to handle complex technical problems
- Proactive person that looks for new improvements in process and methodologies
- Ability to work in an international multilingual and multicultural team
