MISSION:
Develop, manage and coordinate purchasing activities and processes for inland Transport, Crane, Installation and other construction Services in Latam, Brazil and other relevant markets.
YOUR TASKS:
• Understand, establish and issue Request for Quotations (RFQ) and negotiate inland Transport, Crane, Installation and other construction Services (auxiliary means, site facilities, etc) for the set-up of wind turbines including commercial terms (price, payment term & milestones, securities…) and operational terms.
• Establish, evaluate, and select suppliers and develop a qualified supplier base.
• Develop, implement and manage purchasing strategies.
• Maintain procurement records such as items or services quoted, purchased and costs.
• Negotiate, set-up and manage frame purchasing agreements with suppliers.
• Provide cost estimations for projects in the sales phase.
• Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Review and negotiate Terms and Conditions to effectively achieve Company and project targets.
• Develop framework agreements with key suppliers.
• Place call orders against existing framework agreements.
• Ensure optimum combination of quality, delivery and cost, monitoring supplier’s performance while meeting Nordex’s global targets and KPIs.
• Must have the ability to effectively handle multiple quotes and orders simultaneously and prioritize work based on schedule demands.
• Ability to demonstrate the capability to perform work assignments on a wide variety of tasks.
• Develop and implement an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the tender, sales and construction departments.
• Implement and improve standards, tools and processes on a global level to facilitate the daily business in the different markets.
• Report achievements, risks and challenges on regular basis.
YOUR PROFILE:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or with supplier negotiations, preferable in the Wind and/or Renewable Energy sector.
• Previous experience in Crane and Installation Services is not mandatory but will be a plus.
• High level in Spanish (min. C2). English min. Intermediate level. Portuguese will be a plus
• Good Negotiation and Communication skills.
• Experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks, developing strategies for risk prevention/control.
• Autonomous and flexible.
• You are ready to travel from time to time within the country or abroad.
• Can do attitude.
• Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures.
