Structural integrity and dynamic performance are critical to the reliability and efficiency of modern wind turbines. As a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer, you will drive the development and validation of structural components and assemblies, applying advanced FEM, vibration, and NVH analysis methods across the product lifecycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute to innovative and robust solutions for next-generation wind turbine technology.
YOUR TASKS
• Perform structural, modal, vibration, and NVH analyses using FEM models for generators, gearboxes, and other wind turbine assemblies
• Develop, simulate, calculate, and verify steel structures and mechanical components with a focus on welded assemblies
• Create and evaluate new design concepts for structural components in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and design guidelines
• Support the end-to-end development of structural components throughout all phases of the product lifecycle
• Conduct root-cause analyses of field issues and provide engineering recommendations to improve product reliability and performance
• Develop, validate, and document calculation methodologies to continuously strengthen structural analysis capabilities within the team
• Support the introduction of new technologies and advanced analysis approaches into product development projects
YOUR PROFILE
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
• More than 10 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM simulations within the wind turbine industry
• Strong expertise in modal analysis, vibration assessment, NVH, structural mechanics, and durability evaluations
• Advanced proficiency in Ansys for modelling, simulation, and verification of complex mechanical systems
• Practical experience using Matlab and Python for engineering calculations, data analysis, and process automation
• Solid understanding of the design, assessment, and validation of welded steel structures and mechanical assemblies
• Fluent English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international engineering environment
