Project Manager (w/d/m) Technology

DEPARTMENT:  Project Development

The Technology Manager works as a project manager leading and working on technical projects to improve I&C (installation and commissioning) activities. These projects could be a new turbine development, new tools or new processes. The Technology Manager serves as interface to other departments such as engineering, production and operational functions.




  • Lead of improvement projects with focus on I&C technology
  • Perform global strategy analyses based on cost-benefit and risks
  • Interface between development projects and operational functions ensuring an efficient knowledge transfer
  • Close support of site teams for the implementation of required technical changes into the field
  • Regular site visit, during prototype installation and ramp-up phase.
  • Lead/support feasibility studies including the testing phase




  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Engineering, Product, or Project management
  • You have great Project Management skills (planning, coordination, facilitation, alignments, budgeting, stakeholder management).
  • Good technical background and the ability to quickly learn and understand wind turbine specifics.
  • You work easily with team members coming from different departments, cultures as well as management levels, both on the operational and strategic level. You create a strong communication link.
  • Result-orientated, self-driven and persistent person
  • Fluent in English, other language as German or Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to wind farms globally (approx. 25%).
