The Test & Prototype department in Global Engineering is looking for committed talents to support the validation and verification of wind turbine systems in both product development and operational product support.

As Group Lead Noise & Vibration (m/f/d), this will be 

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Manage a team of international professionals
  • Take global responsibility for noise and vibration validation and optimization
  • Optimize the wind turbine system and components with regards to noise and vibration in close cooperation with the system engineers
  • Support Sales Engineering on acoustic topics, also personally in customer meetings
  • Support PM/EPC and Service in noise verification projects
  • Manage international partners and accredited test labs
  • Improve processes in cooperation with global divisions
  • Increase the efficiency of organization and tools

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree in an Engineering discipline or comparable and combine good technical knowledge with good commercial understanding
  • During your long-standing career in the wind industry ideally, you gathered knowledge about wind turbines and their component’s noise and vibration, ideally from OEMs or test lab’s point of view
  • You have very good English and German communication skills in speaking and writing
  • You are experienced in MS Office, data analysis tools (like Python, imc Famos) and noise propagation software (like IMMI, WindPro)
  • You are self-driven, proactive and have a process-oriented working style, with sufficient flexibility to cover the unforeseen – and are ready to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
  • Very good communication, presentation and negotiation skills are your strengths
  • From time to time, you like traveling
