Global Logistic Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Global Logistics Engineer, you support international collaboration between suppliers, production sites, and internal stakeholders across the global supply chain. In this role, you develop standards and processes for the safe and efficient transportation of nacelle components and contribute to the continuous improvement of global logistics solutions.

YOUR TASKS

• Develop and update global logistics specifications for nacelle components and their packaging in compliance with international standards.
• Define requirements for packaging, corrosion protection, material handling, loading, cargo securing, and transport suitability.
• Calculate load distributions and review, assess, and approve cargo securing, lifting, and lashing concepts for international transportation.
• Maintain and manage logistics specifications within a PLM-based document management system.
• Provide technical support to suppliers, logistics service providers, and internal stakeholders regarding packaging, transportation, and damage prevention concepts.
• Support the handling of transport damages, insurance claims, and claim management activities, while developing and implementing preventive measures.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in a technical logistics role or within the machinery, plant engineering, or heavy-lift industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial packaging, corrosion protection, cargo securing, and international transportation and logistics processes.
• Solid mechanical and technical understanding, ideally with experience using CAD software such as Siemens NX or Creo.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of initiative and accountability.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with international teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders, combined with a willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluent English and good German language skills, both written and spoken.
