Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) - Converter Systems

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team, dedicated to continuously improve the availability of our products in the field. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting root cause analyses and developing effective remedial measures to improve the performance of our power electronics components in wind turbines. Your expertise in converter systems will be invaluable in providing qualified support to our team.
YOUR TASKS:
- Further development of wind turbines, especially in the field of electrical engineering (power electronics, converter technology)
- Troubleshooting on complex electrical systems especially converter-generator systems
- Independent processing of various projects to optimize our technical systems
- Creation of reports and presentations
- Independent preparation of analyses and evaluations
- Communicating project content within your own department and across departments
- Preparation of tests together with colleagues from different areas, cooperation with test laboratories as well as implementation of our own optimization projects
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor, Master) in the field of electrical engineering or comparable training with further qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in an international industrial environment, preferably in the wind industry
- Good understanding of how to familiarize oneself with new programs / software.
- Experienced with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Visio
- Strong communication and teamwork skills paired with intercultural competence
- Enjoy working independently and in a goal-oriented manner
- Very good written and spoken English skills
