You will be responsible for the quality inspections and control of concrete structures in our projects for our Central Project Management region. 

In the role of Civil Site Manager - Quality (m/f/d), you will work closely with project managers, civil site managers and sub-contractors to ensure that the highest quality and safety standards are met.

The position can be filled in Hamburg, Oberhausen, Rostock, or Leipzig, but requires regular on-site presence on the construction sites across Germany, Netherlands, and Austria.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Reliable defect identification on concrete structures and their respective components within the wind energy area e.g.: foundations, concrete towers etc.

  • Use of company provided checklists to document the findings from quality inspections including assigning of severity codes

  • Creation of snagging lists and ensuring the snags to be cleared

  • Regular consultations with the project managers, customers and subcontractors

  • Compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Documentation and proper filing of quality documents

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional training or equivalent knowledge in the civil discipline, with a Civil Engineering degree being beneficial

  • Up to 3 years’ relevant professional experience in the civil construction industry

  • Basic specialist knowledge in civil construction discipline

  • Basic theoretical knowledge of civil construction principles, methods, and tools

  • Good knowledge of the German and English language, both written and spoken – minimum CEFR level of B2

  • Confident Microsoft Office user

  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and standards in the construction industry and the ability to enforce it accordingly

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to earn and maintain the GWO work at height and G41 medical examination certification

  • EU recognized class-B drivers’ license

  • High willingness to travel (approx. 75%) within Germany, Netherlands, and Austria.
