As part of the project installation and finishing phase, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the on-site execution of electrical works in Latvia, primarily carried out by subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, and taking immediate action whenever these requirements are not met. You will also be accountable for monitoring both the quantity and quality of the electrical installations, making sure they align with the relevant technical instructions. Additionally, your supervision will be crucial in ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, paving the way for a smooth and timely commissioning of the wind turbines.
 

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide guidance to subcontracted parties involved in installation and finishing activities.
  • Verify the proper execution of electrical installations.
  • Initiate corrective actions to eliminate defects, to be carried out by the subcontractor.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of site-related reports.
  • Collect and forward relevant technical specifications.
  • Report on the status of site activities.
  • Conduct on-site quality checks and document the results.
  • Actively participate in site meetings, including toolbox talks.
  • Notify the site manager of any defective or missing parts to facilitate timely replacement. 

 

Career / Job Experience:

  • Valid certification covering: (1) 1–35 kV cable lines for construction work management and supervision (VB), (Kabeļlīnijas) and (2) the electrical part of power plants (1–35 kV), including electric motors and generators, for both design (P) and construction work management and supervision (VB) (Elektrostaciju elektriskā daļa, t.sk. elektrodzinēji un ģeneratori)
  • Good Latvian and English language skills (read, write and speak fluently)
  • Project Management Skills
