YOUR TASKS

• Ensure that the team is delivering quality products and services.
• Make low-level decisions, enabling higher-level leaders to focus on broader matters.
• Report problems to higher-level leaders and manage resources to resolve them.
• Help to deploy or execute new initiatives/procedures and keep them on track.
• Provide advisory to the team. Give them support on technical tasks, including software development, bug fixing, product releases, continuous integration, solution design …
• Ensure software development life cycle and standards are met.
• Evaluate and propose improvements in the team processes to streamline daily operations.
• Analyze possible weaknesses in applications and define actions to be taken.

YOUR TEAM IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE

• Wind-Turbine control and optimization: Software plays a pivotal role in controlling wind turbines. Efficient algorithms and real-time monitoring systems ensure optimal performance.
• Remote Monitoring and Control: Wind Turbines are often located in remote areas. Software solutions enable remote monitoring, diagnosting, and control. Teams can develop user-friendly interface for operators.
• Our Software Developer Team Tech Stack: We work with Windows OS and the main tools/progamming languages are Java, .NET, .NET Core, Python, Azure, Azure Devops, REST API`s, among other cool tools.

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical background with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• At least 4-5 years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with the ambition to grow to be a Team Leader. If you already have some experience, even better
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (SCRUM, Azure DevOps...)
• Proficiency in software development methodologies and lifecycle;
• Experience in Cloud Environments (we work in Azure, but we value experience in other cloud providers as well);
• Communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent technical abilities to manage the common daily challenges. 
• Good leading and mentoring skills;
• Fluent English skills (German, Spanish or Portuguese skills are a plus).
