THE PURPOSE
We are looking for a Senior Product Portfolio Manager to lead the strategic development, governance, and optimization of our Wind Service Upgrade portfolio. In this senior role, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for portfolio strategy and value creation, ensuring that new and existing upgrade products are aligned with market demand, regulatory requirements, and long-term business objectives.
You will act as a key strategic interface between commercial, technical, and operational functions, driving portfolio decisions that enable scalable growth, profitability, and sustained competitiveness.
YOUR TASKS
- Own and shape the overall product portfolio strategy for wind service upgrades, including prioritization and investment decisions.
- Lead new product development from ideation through market roll-out, translating market and customer needs into robust business cases and product roadmaps.
- Define and continuously improve the product development operating model, including portfolio governance, KPIs, and decision frameworks.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across commercial, technical, operational, and regional teams to ensure efficient execution.
- Manage the full product lifecycle with a strong focus on value creation, profitability, and scalability.
- Proactively optimize the portfolio through structured scaling, enhancement, or phase-out decisions in line with long-term business objectives.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, or a comparable senior role—ideally within wind energy, renewable energy, or industrial services.
- Proven track record of initiating, pitching, and leading new product developments from concept to successful market roll-out, including business case ownership and senior stakeholder alignment.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and commercial mindset with the ability to drive portfolio-level decisions.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycles, portfolio governance, and cross-functional operating models in complex organizations.
- Confident and persuasive communicator, experienced in influencing senior stakeholders in an international environment.
- Fluent English is required; German and/or Spanish language skills are a strong advantage.
- High level of ownership, resilience, and results orientation, combined with a structured and pragmatic working style.
