THE PURPOSE

 

As a member of our Global Service organization within the After Sales Engineering department, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our SCADA‑related After Sales products. In this position, you will work at the intersection of control systems, data acquisition, and fleet optimization — translating technical requirements into customer‑focused digital service solutions. You will be responsible for advancing SCADA‑based functionalities, tools, and monitoring capabilities that improve turbine availability, operational transparency, and overall service value. This role reports directly to the Director After Sales Engineering.
 

 

YOUR TASKS

 

  • Develop and improve SCADA‑based After Sales products, digital monitoring tools, and service functionalities.
  • Define technical requirements and lead concept development for new SCADA features and digital service offerings.
  • Collaborate with controls engineering, software development, cybersecurity, service operations, and product management.
  • Enhance data visualization, alarm logic, event classification, and performance reporting features within SCADA systems.
  • Support global service teams with SCADA expertise, training, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and relevant industry standards for data handling and control systems.
  • Conduct data analysis and system investigations to identify improvement opportunities or root causes of operational issues.
  • Evaluate and integrate new digital technologies and trends to strengthen the After Sales product portfolio.

 
YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation/Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional experience with SCADA systems, industrial control systems, or digital monitoring platforms—ideally in wind energy or a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols, data acquisition, and remote monitoring concepts.
  • Experience in developing or enhancing digital products, dashboards, or SCADA functionalities.
  • Ability to analyze system behavior and translate findings into actionable product improvements.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to work in a global, fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.
