THE PURPOSE

 

As part of our Global Service organization within the After Sales Engineering department, you will play a key role in shaping our After Sales product portfolio related to electrical systems and turbine performance. In this position, you will drive the development of innovative, software‑driven After Sales products focused on optimizing the power curve and operational behavior of the turbine, while also contributing to hardware‑based product solutions. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will translate technical requirements into customer‑focused service offerings that strengthen the long-term performance and reliability of our fleet. This position reports directly to the Director After Sales Engineering.
 

YOUR TASKS

 

  • Develop and enhance software‑driven After Sales products, especially those impacting turbine power curve, electrical performance, and operational behavior.
  • Design, improve, and support hardware‑based After Sales products related to turbine electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with Global Engineering, control software, service operations, and product management teams to define requirements and product concepts.
  • Lead the technical development and validation of electrical and performance‑related service products.
  • Perform data analysis on turbine performance to identify optimization opportunities and drive product improvements.
  • Support global service teams with documentation, technical guidance, and training for new electrical and software‑based products.
  • Ensure alignment with relevant industry standards, internal engineering guidelines, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor trends in electrical engineering, control software, and turbine optimization technologies to inspire product innovation.
     


YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Professional experience in engineering, product development, or turbine performance optimization—preferably in wind energy or similar industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, software‑driven control concepts, and turbine performance characteristics.
  • Experience with data analysis, interpretation of performance data, and validation of technical concepts.
  • Ability to convert technical requirements into customer‑ready service products.
  • Experience working in global, cross‑functional environments.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and proactive problem‑solving approach..
  • Proficiency in English — we’re not expecting Shakespeare, but you should feel comfortable speaking in interviews and daily meetings with international colleagues;
