Service Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Service Technician to carry out work on our wind parks in Montenegro. The Service Technician's responsibilities are commissioning, fault clearance as well as maintenance. 

 

Your Tasks

  • Support the development and execution of annual maintenance plans for wind farm operations in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is current, accurate, and aligned with operational standards and recommendations.
  • Manage and inspect certified insulation, protective equipment, materials, and spare parts to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Operate wind turbines with approval from the wind farm manager, strictly adhering to HSE protocols.
  • Communicate with the dispatcher to optimize electricity production and transmission safely.
  • Coordinate regular and preventive inspections with authorized service providers as requested by the wind farm manager.
  • Apply established work methods and report any irregularities immediately to the manager.
  • Collect, record, and analyze operational data and observations from the wind farm.
  • Maintain daily logs of turbine operations and drive events.
  • Conduct facility inspections in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Monitor and document the condition of safety and fire protection equipment.
  • Control and log site access and oversee movement within hazardous zones.
  • Supervise third-party work on-site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to company projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes relevant to your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure high-quality, precise, and transparent execution of all assigned tasks.

 

Your Profile

  • Mid-level Electrical education/training or comparable training and knowledge
  • Valid driving license
  • Good Montenegrin and English language skills 
  • Experience with Electrical systems
  • Capable of working at heights and in the proximity of medium and high voltage infrastructure 
  • Knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
  • Basic HSE knowledge, and the ability to develop further in this area
  • Computer literate, able to use MS Office 
  • Experienced in using technical data for fault finding and problem analysis
  • Beneficial: Experience with mechanical systems, SAP, in-house databases, and workload management systems, as well as effective use of data processing tools
  • Ability to work independently in shifts, flexibility for site work and working conditions that may change unexpectedly and the ability to manage a heavy workload and mulitple demands
  • Standard working hours per week but flexibility is required as occasional overtime may be necessary to resolve turbine issues arising at the end of a shift
