POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Service Operations, Site Manager, directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As the Multi-Site Manager, you will lead and inspire high-performing service teams at your assigned wind farm sites. Drive operational excellence by championing a safety-first culture, fostering collaboration, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. You will own site performance, develop talent, and embed Nordex’s values and culture through proactive coaching and training. This role demands a strategic leader who can mobilize resources, optimize processes, and empower teams to deliver exceptional results. As a Multi-Site Manager, you are not just managing operations—you are shaping the culture, developing future leaders, and ensuring Nordex remains a trusted partner in renewable energy. Your leadership will directly impact safety, quality, and customer satisfaction at every level. You will support French and English-speaking employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Direct and motivate on-site teams to achieve operational targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Cultivate a strong safety culture by enforcing full compliance and leading by example in all site activities.
- Coach and mentor technicians and leads, driving professional growth and technical excellence.
- Champion cultural alignment by embedding Nordex values into daily operations and team behaviors.
- Influence and collaborate across departments to resolve technical and commercial challenges swiftly.
- Support the development and drive accountability for site-level P&L execution, ensuring financial goals are met through strategic planning and cost control.
- Lead change initiatives to improve processes, enhance service quality, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Empower teams through structured training programs focused on safety, quality, and customer service.
- Improve operational performance by analyzing downtime trends and reallocating resources.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all site activities in compliance with company standards.
- Manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables including the management of specialty tools that require calibrations.
- Manage subcontractors and third-party providers, ensuring adherence to Nordex standards and timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 4-Year University or Engineering Degree Preferred.
- High school diploma required OR an equivalent combination of experience, technical training, and safety certifications.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Advanced technical knowledge of wind turbine operations and maintenance, combined with leadership experience (2–5 years in a supervisory role).
- 6 - 7 years’ experience in power generation equipment support with 3 years concentration in the wind turbine operations and maintenance required.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong skills in strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional communication and influencing abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in building team culture, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
- Must meet the weight requirement 120kg (265 lbs.) or less to safely utilize climbing equipment and climbing gear.
- Must be able to work in Canada with no Company sponsorship.
- Ability to travel domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport.
- Ability to successfully complete all Canadian regulatory laws surrounding pre-employment screening requirements.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical administered by a medical examiner to ensure the ability to safely perform job functions and meet the physical demands of the position.
- Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Properly use applicable safety equipment, including but not limited to eye protection, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hard hats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a safe working environment.
- Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.
The pay for this role is exempt at $160,000 - $180,000 CAD salary with up to a 15% bonus. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
