POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Marketing & Communications Manager directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As a Marketing & Communication Manager, you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communication strategies for Nordex North America. This role requires a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, and media strategy. You will ensure alignment with global campaigns while tailoring initiatives to the North American market, driving visibility, reputation, and business growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategic Marketing & Brand Management
- Define and implement marketing strategies (brand image) that align Canadian and U.S. messaging with global campaigns.
- Lead the design and implementation of marketing and communication plans tailored to regional priorities
- Develop and oversee content strategies for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms to strengthen brand presence.
- Lead recruitment marketing initiatives across LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, and targeted channels, ensuring alignment with diversity and inclusion goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Communication & Media Strategy
- Design and execute comprehensive communication plans, including media relations.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry associations, and key stakeholders to enhance Nordex’s visibility.
- Develop thought leadership content and manage proactive media outreach to position Nordex as a leader in renewable energy.
Event & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead planning and execution of high-profile events, trade shows, and brand initiatives in North America.
- Support corporate relations and community engagement efforts, including partnerships with local communities and Indigenous groups.
Creative & Content Development
- Creation of digital and print materials, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards.
- Manage external agencies and vendors for creative projects, advertising campaigns, and media buys.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- HS Diploma/ GED Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- Additional certifications in digital marketing, social media strategy, or brand management are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management roles.
- Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
- Experience managing social media platforms and recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in media relations, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Prior experience in renewable energy or industrial sectors preferred.
- Strong expertise in strategic marketing, brand positioning, and integrated communication planning.
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed) and recruitment marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and event planning.
- Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing external agencies and vendors.
- Creative mindset with proficiency in developing high-quality digital and print materials.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and align regional initiatives with global campaigns.
- Ability to successfully complete all Canadian regulatory laws surrounding pre-employment screening requirements.
- Must be able to work in Canada with no Company sponsorship
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory. Spanish and/or German is a plus
- Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.

- Properly use applicable safety equipment, including but not limited to eye protection, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hard hats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a safe working environment.
- Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.
The pay for this role is exempt at $135,000 CAD - $150,000 CAD with up to a 15% bonus. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
