Service Technician

- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
- Carry out inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Repair or replace turbine components in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete service reports, maintenance records and inspection documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and actively contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Use technical documentation, manuals and digital systems to support maintenance activities.
- Support commissioning, upgrades and retrofit activities when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in a safe and operational condition.
- Collaborate with colleagues, contractors and customers to ensure efficient site operations.
- Participate in the on-call roster and respond to turbine breakdowns when required.
- Travel to wind farm sites as necessary to support operational requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
- Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or equivalent trade qualification.
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory).
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, utilities, mining, construction, renewable energy or similar technical environments.
- Wind industry experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to working safely and following established HSE requirements.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
- Physically capable of performing hands-on field work.
- Good computer skills and ability to work with digital maintenance systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's licence.
- GWO certifications and High-Risk Work Licences are highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel and work in regional or remote locations when required.
- Passion for renewable energy and continuous professional development.
