Service Sales Manager

The Service Sales Manager, is responsible to negotiate favorable terms and conditions on long term service agreements, while at the same time supporting the sales WTG team to secure new WTG order intake (WTG: Wind Turbine Generator). Work in close collaboration in a Deal Team with WTG sales supported by Legal, Commercial Service Sales, Wind & Site and aligning Terms &Conditions with Service Operations. Order intake, as sold EBIT and contract renewal rate are the key measurable success factors apart from compliance with sales guidance  and Letter of Agreement as well as building long term customer relationships.

 

 

YOUR TASKS: 

 

  • Analyze customer requirements, industry trends including competitive intelligence, propose product improvements to secure continuous success.
  • Prepare project specific pricing and quotation.
  • Negotiate long term service contracts in line with business objectives with external customers.
  • Develop pre-sales contract strategies and work closely with sales, business management and legal.
  • Engage in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes as well as contract renewals after initial contract phase end.
  • Present the services in a professional way including correct cost-benefit argumentation.
  • Prepare and manage tender documents.
  • Follow internal approval process including risk review, KYC process and project summary, hand over signed contracts to Service operations.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE: 

 

  • Professional with 5–10 years of experience in service sales, business development, and commercial roles within renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing customer relationships and delivering commercial results.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and service agreements (e.g., LTSA) in complex environments.
  • Exposure to wind energy and related energy markets, with knowledge of the ANZ region considered an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks, with the ability to apply them in real business contexts.
  • Ability to work effectively in matrix organisations and project-based environments.
  • Strong results-driven mindset, commercial acumen, and proactive approach in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
