PM Operations Manager

YOUR TASKS:
- Lead and coordinate all operational activities related to transport, crane and turbine installation across Oceania projects.
- Provide operational expertise and strategic input during tendering activities, ensuring feasible methodologies, optimized solutions and accurate cost estimates.
- Support procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, technical alignment and contract negotiations.
- Ensure safe, efficient and on-schedule execution of transport, lifting and installation operations.
- Act as the key operational interface between Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, HSE and external contractors.
- Develop and review installation methodologies, lifting plans, transport concepts and mobilisation strategies.
- Identify, assess and mitigate operational risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support cost control, change management and operational optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide operational guidance, coaching and training to Site Management teams to ensure alignment with global and regional standards.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related technical discipline.
- 8-10+ years' in operations, construction or project management within wind energy, renewables, infrastructure or heavy engineering.
- Strong expertise in transport logistics, heavy lifting operations, crane management and large-scale installation projects, preferably wind energy.
- Proven experience across tender, procurement and project execution phases.
- Solid understanding of contract delivery, stakeholder management and contractor coordination.
- Strong knowledge of HSE requirements, quality standards and operational best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Highly organised, proactive and solution-oriented with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Oceania region as required.
