MISSION: 

Develop and improve the wind tool, give support during tendering phase Support in the wind analysis, develop. Technical evaluation of the wind tool risk during execution of the project.

 

TASKS:

  • Analyze and understand site specific wind and climate.
  • Analyze and analyze constraints for every specific site, and support Tendering team during wind.
  • risks analysis to get the best one considering the project constraints (hub height, rotor diameter, major component wind speed limit).
  • Align with engineering department to understand and define properly the right parameters.
  • Calculate the wind impact on site during project execution outcomes and compare with the ones get with the wind tool.
  • Combine technical requirements and practical limitations to get the best wind risk performance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to improve wind tool.
  • Get from different sites the wind analysis and compare with the wind tool.
  • Implement and support corporate processes and tools and develop locally required processes/tool with different regions.
  • Report achievements, risks and challenges on regular basis.
  • Occasionally travelling within the country and abroad is part of the job.
  • Abailability to be allocated in Madrid or Tajonar (Navarra).

 

PROFILE:

  • Bachelor´s technical Engineering/Meteorology degree or equivalent. Profiles without such education could be consider if they proof experience (3 years).
  • Microsoft package and use to work with wind tools.
  • Competence in wind flow modelling and in using relevant software such as WindPro, WAsP or other comparable software. Experience with CFD codes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
  • At least 3 years in a similar position/job. Experience in crane and transport in wind energy. Crane operations planification.
  • High English Level, German is a plus.
  • Communications skills.
  • Proactivity and assertiveness.
  • Ablility to work with multicultural teams.
