Strategic Lead Buyer (m/f/d)

As part of our growth we are looking for a Strategic Lead Buyer (m/f/d) to act as a trusted sourcing lead in strategic crane and self hoisting projects, working closely with Service Engineering and Service Operations for the crane commodity in the Global Sourcing team in Spain, performing relevant tasks as follows:

 

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Coordinate closely with regions, retaining responsibility for their regional budgets, ensuring alignment with global targets and assumptions
  • Act as sourcing lead in strategic crane and self‑hoisting projects, working closely with Business Stakeholders
  • Partner with the Data Analysis & Monitoring team to define and implement KPIs, dashboards, and analytical tools for the crane commodity
  • Background in international crane markets, with strong understanding of Global and regional crane operators, rental market dynamics, capacity constraints, and pricing drivers

 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Fluent English and Spanish required. German is a plus
  • Proved hands on experience sourcing cranes (including mobile cranes and/or self-hoisting solutions) in a service or      project environment
  • Efficient in terms of time and cost savings
  • Readiness for action, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • High level of commitment, proactivity and dedication
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate contracts in different environments and cultures
  • Timely and effective management of high-demand issues
  • Great willingness and flexibility to travel
