Senior Mechanical Engineer / Enclosure Lead (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

  • Align technical solutions for LCE Enclosure Design System with relevant stakeholders (e.g. system team, value chain, chief engineers etc.) and make the final decision
  • Provide Design System considering the full system lifecycle (fulfilling the end-to-end demands and system requirements): concepts, preliminary and detailed designs and continuous improvements (issues in the field or value chain)
  • Provide System documentation
  • Provide System requirements that fulfil product requirements
  • Provide System test specification
  • Ensure that complete System verification is included in test planning
  • Participate and contribute according to PEP definition to development projects representing LCE Enclosure Design System
  • Define the sequence of tasks for system design work packages and the required competencies and skills needed
  • Align appropriate members for projects and tasks with Group Leads
  • Escalate non-technical issues (e.g. disagreements for assignment of members etc.) to direct manager of the System Lead
  • Collaborate in the system DFMEA, as well as coordination of the identified actions
  • Support RCA (Root Case Analysis) for field investigations related to the system components

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable university degree
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across different teams. Project management experience is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the wind energy sector specifically related to Fiber enclosures (e.g. GRP parts, moulds, bolting, etc.)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • DFMEA development expertise, with a structured approach to risk assessment and mitigation will be positively considered
  • Experience in TeamCenter is a plus
  • Availability to travel
