As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Load Calcultation Engineer LOMOS (m/f/d). Within the Load Calculation Sites team, you will perform the following tasks:
YOUR TASKS:
- Provide senior-level support to the LOMOS project, including analyzing and structuring complex data sets such as load estimation results and SCADA data.
- Perform aeroelastic simulations (load calculations) for site-specific suitability assessment (at any lifecycle stage, incl service). Analyzing site condition impacts on loads, components and controller behavior.
- Assess associated uncertainties and their impact using probabilistic methods.
- Support definition, calibration, and verification of control strategies.
- Contribute to methodology and toolchain improvements.
- Generate technical reports and documentation.
- Support certification, design updates, and claims investigations.
YOUR PROFILE:
- M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or similar.
- Complementary training in Bladed, Alaska, HAWC2, Flex5, Python, MATLAB. Applied AI methodologies (ML, NN...)
- +8 years in loads, control, aeroelastic simulation, site suitability or data analytics
- Professional level of English. Spanish/German are nice to have.
- Availability to travel
