Group Lead Drivetrain and Machine House Developments (m/f/d)

As part of our growth we are looking for a Group Lead Drivetrain and Machine House Developments. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers focused on grid code developments, while also performing a Project Management role within the Customer area. Amongst others, you will perform the following tasks:
YOUR TASKS:
- Team management and leadership: responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise to the team members
- Management of cross-functional project team consisting of Global Engineering, Product Strategy, PM/EPC, Service and many other relevant functions including coordination and centralized overview of Drive train (DTR) and Machine House (MHO) modules developments
- Manage and coordinate multiple development projects related to DTR and MHO modules, ensuring budget, timeline, and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary technical teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software,Turbine Integration Engineering) to ensure technical feasibility and proper development of DTR and MHO module projects
- Oversee the development process from initial concept to serial production, including prototyping, testing, and certification
- Align project scope and schedules with other project managers and report progress to the respective Vice President
- Implementation of risk and stakeholder management
- Continuous improvement process of the Nordex turbine development process
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed M.Sc in Engineering, Mechanics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar degree*, with additional training in Project Management (PM certification preferred)
- Experience in leading a team of Project Managers, acting as a role model with resilience and a positive attitude, and having a clear focus on developing the team members
- Relevant experience in teams management and project management within wind industry
- Comfortable working and interacting frequently with relevant stakeholders across the organization, understanding situations and applying a global perspective aligned with company strategy
- Combining creativity with attention to detail and a systematic and careful way of working. Very good planning skills (including Planner)
- Experience in an ERP and PLM system advantageous
- Fluent English language skills required
