YOUR TASKS

 

 

  • Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in Region MED (France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia) in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with the permits, the laws and regulations in the countrys and with internal Group guidelines and requirements

     

     

  • Lead, inspire and develop highly skilled staff based in multiple locations and further develop the regional project management department

     

  • Planning, monitoring and controlling of project costs and performance as well as proactive opportunity / risk management, in particular early coordination and initiation of countermeasures in case of deviations as well as consistent contract management and claim management

     

  • Adherence to all health, safety and environmental guidelines at all sites to ensure the occupational safety of employees on construction sites as well as to comply with regulatory requirements

     

  • Representation of the company to customers and business partners and, creation of a professional as well as constructive customer relationship

     

  • Managing subcontractors and interfaces with other Group departments.

     

  • Part of the MED Management Team and responsible for driving all PM related issues within the organization, including hand-over processes, experience sharing and continuous improvement practice

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

 

  • Technical background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent

     

  • > 5 years of experience in managing civil engineering and construction projects (including full turnkey projects) and responsibility for multi-million EURO contracts and portfolio of projects

     

  • Strong trackrecord in managing operational project units, ideally within a larger company with complex structures and experienced in an international working environment

     

  • Extensive experience in leading, motivating and developing teams of experts as well as experience in dealing with key business figures and in achieving set targets

     

  • Distinct strategic-analytical thinking and acting as well as implementation strength

     

  • Experience with contract negotiations

     

  • Team orientation and strong skills in integrating different interests as well as in conflict and problem solving

     

  • Adapted, transparent and effective communication across all levels, especially in dealing with customers

     

  • High willingness to travel in the MED region to the different locations and sites

     

  • Proficient language skills in English and French.
