YOUR TASKS:

 

  • Working as part of the Spain, Africa, APAC Region service team the Special Operations Manager Blades is responsible to lead a team of coordinators and blade technicians for plan, execute and track progress of blades projects, assuring a Zero HSE incident culture, assure business profitability meeting budgets and achieving excellent quality standard.
  • Assure business profitability by supporting the region in blade operational matters with the best quality standards.
  • Lead a team of blade coordinators, technical support engineers, experts and blade technicians.
  • Manage long term planning of activities and resources for the blade works in the region.
  • Support field operations on attending to new customer requirements with presence and lead over technical meeting.
  • Lead complex technical or special projects out of standard operations.
  • Support Sales team on ensuring new order intake is granted and create new aftersales market opportunities to meet targets.
  • Team strategy definition, run recruitment processes, define career development of the employees.
  • Ensure financial control over the team and projects managed (Budget and Forecast process).
  • Close cooperation with other company stakeholders (PM, Sales, Finance, etc).
  • Drive technical topics together with engineering team.
  • Work on other initiatives to improve competitiveness.
  • Further tasks related to service operations.
  • Reporting Information to organization KPIs/Budget/Performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects within their areas.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Industrial Engineering (Mechanical and / or Electrical field).
  • Master’s on Project Management.
  • Experience of the wind industry in a senior technical management position.
  • Experience in working in matrix organizations.
  • High level of written and spoken English (C1).
  • Valuable knowledge: SCADA, Windturbines Trainings, MS office, SAP, JDE Edwards, Excel, Power BI, Power Point.
  • We are looking for a senior Technical Manager profile, experienced in dealing with complex technical topics.
  • Flexible and stress resistant, able to deal with conflict and with a strategical mindset.
  • Strong decision making, planning and prioritizing skills.
  • Systematic working approach and problem-solving behavior.
  • Teamwork & collaboration, customer focus and End-to-end-thinking.
