YOUR TASKS:

 

  • Working as part of the Spain, Africa, APAC Region service team, the Regional Material Manager is responsible for managing supply, storage, logistics and inventory planning of materials for regional service operations activities.
  • You would work closely with Service Operations, Global spare parts team, sourcing and logistics partners to ensure material is available on-time, in full and in budget to our service operational sites.
  • Recruit, train, develop and mentor material management team members
  • Manage supply, storage, logistics and inventory planning of materials for regional service operations activities.
  • Promote and train material management process within region.
  • Prepare and analyze material management KPIs, identifying process gaps to mitigate risk.
  • Identify and coordinate regional demands to ensure sourcing needs are met.
  • Prepare annual material management budget Review and approve purchase requisitions for material supply.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and customers to ensure service strategic needs are met.
  • Liaison with headquarters on support needs and strategic process improvements.
  • Manage the contracts and services of the warehouses in the countries.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Business Administration and Management or similar.
  • Manager profile (10 direct reports).
  • Experience in managing teams in Supply chain, logistics and/or warehouse management.
  • Experience in working in matrix organizations.
  • Experience in the wind industry will be a plus.
  • High level of written and spoken English (C1).
  • MS office, SAP, Excel, Power BI, Power Point.
  • Systematic working approach and problem-solving behavior.
  • Flexible and stress-resistant, able to deal with conflict.
  • Strategical mindset, end-to-end thinking, strong decision making, planning and prioritizing skills
  • Teamwork & collaboration, customer focus.
  • Availability to travel, but minor and planned exceptions.
