Operational Engineering Electrics is one competence center within Technology Management & QHSE. Our international team provides electrical support worldwide. We cover all Components from the Grid, via Generator to the arc protection in the blades, from the production through the service lifetime. We cover the technical communication between the internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

Your Tasks

 

 

  • Safety as an absolute priority, ensuring safe practices in all activities performed by yourself and your team
  • Lead and develop a superregional, multicultural team of highly skilled experts, fostering talent development and high performance
  • Provide expert technical support for wind turbine electrical systems (HV, transformers, switchgear, and generators), defining, initiating, and managing corrective actions
  • Resultsdriven management, delivering solutions on time and within budget, with transparent KPI reporting and continuous improvement of processes and tools
  • Represent the team within global service organizations and to customers, acting as Deputy Head of Department and being available to travel mainly within Europe and occasionally overseas

 

 

Your Profile

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, similar or higher with focus on electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with a strong focus on wind industry, high voltage (transformer and switch gear) technology and electrical machines
  • Proven track record in serviceoriented operations with strong customer engagement; extensive experience in customer and supplier interface management, supplier audits, and conducting root cause analyses (RCA)
  • HSE awareness that shows in your daily approach to your role
  • Very strong organizational, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple topics and priorities simultaneously; experience with the 8D methodology is considered a plus.
  • High level of commitment and dedication to deliver high quality
  • Fluent English language skills. Spanish language skills are welcome
