Global Demand and Forecast Planner (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

 

  • In this expert role, you will act as the central interface between the local countries' organizations of Nordex Service and the headquarters functions to interconnect the global demands of spare parts for wind turbines with the supply of these materials from the central warehouses.
  • Secure the earliest possible ordering of all plannable material demands in SAp, esp. for known repair scopes, scheduled maintenance and retrofit campaigns.
  • Optimize global spare parts stocks in the local country organizations as well as central warehouses (Working Capital).
  • Monitor and analyze demand and delivery patterns to identify potential bottlenecks and supply chain disruptions.
  • Create forecasts of global spare parts demands by analyzing and interpreting order trends.
  • Continuously improve material classification and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Train the local material managers who usually enter the purchase orders into SAp, incl. efficient usage of safety stocks as well as maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in the local country organizations and dquafter functions to make informed predictions of future spare parts demands.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Economics or Engineering, preferably with focus on business administration, supply chain management or logistics. Alternatively, comparable vocational training with corresponding additional qualification.
  • Several years of practical experience in demand planning & forecasting, material, management and / or sales and operations planning (S&OP).
  • Proficiency in supply chain management, preferably for spare parts, and inventory optimization techniques.
  • Fluent in English; ideally also Spanish and / or German on a professional level.
  • Profound knowledge of SAP ECC, modules MM and sD, as well as MS office.
  • Expertise of SAP S/4 Hana is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated and committed personality with a high degree of drive and ownership. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, especially between the company locations in DE-Hamburg, DE-Rostock and ES-Pamplona.
