YOUR TASKS

 

Development, together with the rest of the technical BOP team, of conceptual, basic and detailed engineering at the process level for alkaline electrolyzers (system´s calculation, design criteria, equipment and instrument data sheets...).

- Support in the design of liquid/gas separation pressure vessels for MW scale power electrolyzers.

- Hydraulic and thermal calculations.

- Elaboration and interpretation of PID´s mechanical diagrams.

- Subsystem integration activities at different power scales and integration of multi-stack plants.

- Preparation of requisitions for the purchase of equipment or components.

- Tabulations and follow-up of Equipment & Instruments offers for electrolysis systems.

- Preparation of documents (procedures, manuals, reports, etc.) derived from the above activities.

- Support in the definition of control strategies for hydrogen production equipment.

- Support in the preparation of reports associated to research projects together with investment budgets.

- Commissioning and testing of designed equipment and installations.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

Degree in Chemical (process specialization preferred) or Industrial Engineering.

- Valuable knowledge in: Explosive atmospheres (ATEX), dessign of pressure equipment, risk analysis methodologies as HAZOP, SIL and H2 technologies.

- High English level: ability to make presentations and conduct/maintain meetings with foreign suppliers/clients.

-  At least 5 years of experience in hydrogen-related engineering activities or in process engineering activities at any level for equipment and/or plants (oil & gas).

- In adition to the development of the work in the technical office, experience in terms of the assembly and commissioning of new developments / installations.

- It will be valued to have participated in research projects with national and/or European universities and consortia in activities related to basic and detailed engineering developments related to H2
